Venue Secrets: Radius Chicago
The Acoustics Matter
Radius features a world-class L-Acoustics K2 system. For the best sound, stand near the sound booth (the "front of house"). It's where the engineers are mixing the bass to be its heaviest and clearest.
The Cermak Hall Tunnel
Radius is connected to its sister venue, Cermak Hall. For major shows like Subtronics, sometimes both rooms are used. Look for the hallway near the VIP entrance to bypass main-room congestion.
Coat Check Hack
The coat check line at Radius can take forever at the end of the night. If you're driving, pay for the secure parking lot and leave your coat in the car. It saves you an hour of waiting after the lights come on.
